PRAIRIE PICTURES

Happy Sunday! As my old friend, Adam, used to say. Some new pictures to view, copy, paste, reminisce, and research. Notice the intricate designs of the backside of the photos. The photos that came from the photo album were found at a thrift shop. From the advertisements of the photos, it seems that most of the people came from either Kansas, Illinois, and Iowa. For those doing the research, where the photo was taken is an important factor. This tells us that the individual was at this location at some point in time. Researching the company and then finding out what they still have could be useful in your search. Also, look into who might have bought out the company.

The next picture provides information about this good lady, Her name was Mrs. R.N. Turner(?). Nee Emma E Beau, Married July 25, 1889. Died May 27, 1890.
The next picture provides information about this child. O.W. Snodderly, Elmo/a, Mo.
This the backside of the previous photo. The two photos were side-by-side, His was slightly more faded.
This photo belonged to the previous picture.
I love this photo! She looks as if she has recently accomplished a great achievement.
I suspect this young lady is the same person 18 or 19 frames prior to this.
When viewing the baby carefully, they eyes are open with an expression of natural happiness. The little guy next to the baby seems to be showing caution with a glint of happiness as well.
The love in this photo swells out into the future. The LOOK in that child’s eyes says it all!
I can’t help wondering if the look in his face comes from confusion about the camera. Was this his first time in front of one?
It looks as she has a deep scar on her face. I could be wrong.
Notice the date as 1878. Could he have been a student at Princeton University?
